Ever
wonder what to do for that special occasion? The Windsor
House of Tea, Inc., is available for private parties. We
especially delight in giving teas for the "wee sippers" for
a very special birthday party. Hosting a reception, bridal
shower or baby shower? Please contact us to help you plan
your special event tea and to determine availability.

year we hold special tea events:

10, 2007 |
Quilter’s
Tea.
We started this event last year and it has been
a fun event! At
the request of the quilters, we are continuing this
event this year. Every 2nd Saturday of each month,
The Windsor House of Tea will hold "A
Quilter’s Tea". On this Saturday we will discount one menu item of
your choice by 30% in exchange for one 12" finished block in the "colors/motifs
of the month" which you bring to be included in a drawing. One or more lucky
quilters will receive a group of blocks with which to work your magic and create
a quilt. The quilts will be displayed in March 2008 and the winner will be chosen
by popular vote.
You will
love the prizes! This is a fun way to enjoy tea with
fellow quilters, show off your latest accomplishments
(please
bring a show and tell) and possibly go
home with enough blocks to make a quilt. This months
fabric
colors are pink, red, and lavender. Reservations are required. No splits on
menu items.
The Quilts
will be displayed in March 2007 and the winner will be chosen by popular vote.

This is

Valentine’s Tea - For the
chocolate lover in you! In celebration of St. Valentine,
The Windsor House of Tea is preparing a decadent chocolate
buffet. After enjoying a plate of delectable finger
sandwiches, enjoy the chocolate fountain for dipping
fruit, cakes and candies, and other chocolate delights.
Savor our chocolate tea or choose your favorite tea
from our selection of 48 varieties of tea. $17.95 per
person/gratuity not included in price. No splits. Reservations

Tea and Etiquette 101. This tea returns by popular
demand and we promised to keep it on our list of special
events in 2007! Join
us for this special presentation by Shirley George,
co-founder of The Windsor House of Tea. Shirley will cover the History of Tea;
Do's and Don'ts of Taking Tea; Napkin Etiquette; basic tea information and
an
explanation of "high" tea and "low" tea. You will enjoy "tasting" a
green tea and a black tea along with your scones, finger sandwiches and tasty
dessert. Prepaid reservations are required for this event. $10.95 person/gratuity

Mother’s
Day Tea .
Show your Mother how much you love and appreciate
her. What could be more special
than treating your mother to an elegant afternoon of
tea. The tea room is open on this Sunday especially for
this event. Seating for this event can be reserved from
1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. A rose will be waiting at your
mother’s place setting and she will also receive
a framed photo of her special day. This tea is popular
and fills fast...make your reservations early. Prepaid
reservations only. $18.95 per person/gratuity not included.
Reservations are confirmed with a credit card. (Allow
us to make her day even more special with a gift basket
full of tea treats, a special Mother’s tea cup
of bone china and her favorite tea. Order no later than
May 10th and your Mother’s Day gift will be waiting

Daughter Tea. There
is nothing more special than relationship between
father and daughter or a grandfather
and his granddaughter. We would
like to help you create memories by celebrating those special relationships.
Come join us for a very special tea where the young ladies take home a lovely
red rose and the fathers and grandfathers take home a photograph to enjoy years
later. And fathers, don’t think that "afternoon tea" is just
for the ladies. We have a very special menu planned that is sure to please

Festival of Hats. This tea is not to be missed! Don
your favorite hat and come to tea. Whether it be a dainty chapeaux, feathery,
or bold and bodacious, come parade your hats in front a panel of 2 judges and
compete in categories for 1) Daintiest Chapeaux 2) Most Bodacious 3) Classic
Elegance. Last years entries were fabulous! And men, this includes you. The
winner in each category will win a certificate for "Lady Taylor’s" tea
for two once a month for one year. Seating for this event is at 1:30 p.m. Prepaid

Gold and Silver Tea. "Make new friends and keep
the old, one is silver and the other is gold." What
a perfect time to rekindle those friendships that have
gone unattended all summer and to make new friends.
